Diane Sewell was born and raised in Texas; she’s been dancing since she was three years old. She trained under Laurie Wilson in the Houston area just focusing on having fun.  When she was eleven, her family moved to Tomball where she trained under Sharon Issacks into her high school years.  While training with her she was on the competitive dance team and assisted with the baby classes and with competition solos.  When her instructor retired, she trained under Robert Underwood with her focus on ballet, turns and technique class, and jazz.  Then she went to college and got her Associates of Arts degree at the Lone Star program and then went to Stephen F. Austin State University getting a bachelor’s degree in Dance. She joined the college dance company and performed in the Dance works where it showed off senior’s pieces. She has been an instructor at Joee Schapiro Dance for five years now. She teaches many different styles like ballet, tap, jazz, and teaches different age groups.  She’s married to a wonderful husband and has a four-year-old son.  She is looking forward to showing others her passion for dance.
